Lawyer of Demarest’s Litigation and Arbitration area, Caroline Gomes de Moura holds a bachelor’s degree from Faculty of Law of Federal University of Minas Gerais (“UFMG”), having done part of her studies at the University of Hamburg, Germany. Caroline is a Master candidate in Civil Law at the Faculty of Law of University of São Paulo, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Cristiano Zanetti. Caroline attended to an international arbitration specialization course, in Paris, named “Arbitration Academy”. Caroline is also editor of the Brazilian data base of The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG-Brasil.net).

During her undergraduate studies, Caroline acted as teacher assistant of Private International Law and also as a participant and UFMG team coach on the Willem C. Vis Moot and on the Brazilian Arbitration Moot.

Moreover, Caroline has experience as secretary of several arbitral tribunals in national and international commercial and investment arbitrations.

She works in Portuguese and English and has considerable skills in Spanish and German.
